B Sincere aka Barrett J. Noggle
I started out when I was about 11 writing poetry and singing. Poetry was how I connected all of the pieces of my puzzle called life. My first performance was in 6 grade after a play, I sang "Lean on Me". I was so scared because my friend that was playing the piano was late so I had to do it ackcapella. The rush I got from the performance stuck with me. When I hit age 14 thats when I secretly started rapping and freestyling at that point only to my self. After about a year I finally opened up and started rapping to my closest friends, girls, and my basketball team. Thats when it all started, I was addicted. At that point I wanted to rap and freestyle with and for everyone I could. I even tried to join a local rap group who were more experienced than me of course. I am still disappointed because my first opportunity to shine I got scared I had to chance to enter a freestyle contest at a concert with Six-Mix a Lot, Tone-Loc, And Young MC. After it got over I realized that I would have smashed the competition but woulda shoulda coulda ya know. From that point All I could do was keep writing and freestyle because I had no avenue for recording. I ended up writing about 15 notebooks full of songs, I filled up a box with random pieces of papers with punchlines, versus, concepts, ideas, and much more. Plus I wrote about 150-200 poems between that age 17-24 mostly in between 17-19. Enough to publish a book which I am still trying to do. One day when I was 18 turning 19 I decided out of the blue that I wanted to move to Portland for a better job and to pursue music. I didn't like where my life was. Working a dead end job that I got fired from, drinking and kicking it wit Mary Jane on an every night basis. So I packed up and moved, Within about a month I met Eminence and he got me right in a studio we got three tracks recorded and we had many shows from Portland to California off just 3 tracks. Of course he had a few more to perform as well. After about 5 months we got linked up with Point Z. I brushed shoulders with a few heavy hittaz here in Portland (Illaj, Cool Nutz, Maniac Loc and more). It was all brief, but I got good incite from each one.
